Ingredients

  • 2 units (opti pack) Cuisine Adventures French Onion Soup
  • 3 cups leafy green lettuce leaves, cleaned, chopped
  • 1/3 cup chopped caramelized pecans, store-bought
  • 1 each fresh pear, sliced

Dressing:

  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white wine vinegar)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper as needed

Directions

  1. Heat the soups according to the packaging instructions.
  2. Prepare dressing: mix together mustard, maple syrup and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Drizzle oil into mix until well-emulsified. Set aside.
  3. Once soups are almost cooked, mix lettuce, pecans and pears into a medium sized bowl. Drizzle dressing over lettuce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve alongside warming soups and enjoy!
