Korean BBQ Glazed Mini Sausage Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 bags (16 pieces) Cuisine Adventures Mini Sausages
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water

Directions

  1. Prepare the Mini Sausages following box instructions.
  2. In a small saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, dark brown sugar, garlic, vinegar, gochujang, ginger, and sesame oil; bring to a boil.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add to the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Set aside and allow to cool.
  4. Preheat grill to high. Add prepared mini sausages onto wooden skewers, about 3-4 per stick.
  5. Place mini sausages onto the grill and glaze pieces with Korean BBQ sauce.
  6. Continue to cook, glaze, and turn skewers for 5 minutes until well-coated and sticky.

For extra caramelization, brush the skewers with another layer of sauce in the final minute of grilling and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
