Ingredients
- 2 bags (16 pieces) Cuisine Adventures Mini Sausages
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
Directions
- Prepare the Mini Sausages following box instructions.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, dark brown sugar, garlic, vinegar, gochujang, ginger, and sesame oil; bring to a boil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add to the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Set aside and allow to cool.
- Preheat grill to high. Add prepared mini sausages onto wooden skewers, about 3-4 per stick.
- Place mini sausages onto the grill and glaze pieces with Korean BBQ sauce.
- Continue to cook, glaze, and turn skewers for 5 minutes until well-coated and sticky.
For extra caramelization, brush the skewers with another layer of sauce in the final minute of grilling and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
